The class in the afternoon today was my first time for skipping class in Kaplan.

I just felt tired and sleepy in this afternoon.

As an excellent student, skipping class is not very good for studying English.

However, it's also a new experience for studying English in Seattle.

Today, Susan(my teacher) asked us to write down essay and describe the experience of living in the US so far.

I looked forward to living in the USA before I came here.

However, it was also intimidating for living here.

I wanted to bone up on my English ability because I wanted to get a better job in Taiwan.

An excellent English ability and 2-years of work experience as a sales rep. help set me apart from others.

After staying here for 3 weeks, I am assimilating more and more into the American family and mainstream culture.

My host family is so nice that we are very tight-knit.

Because of having a nice homestay, I am relieved to live with them now.

In the next 2 months, I think that I will flourish well in this homestay and in Seattle.
